Eclipse Portal Practices and Playlist
Eclipse Season is here!
Starting with the Annular Solar Eclipse - February 17, 2026 (new moon) and closing under the total Lunar Eclipse - March 3, 2026 (full moon).
During Eclipses the veils between the conscious self, and unconscious self thin and we are portals open for deep recalibrating to our highest timelines and most joyous, aligned, liberated self.
We have outlines some yogic practices that will help align you with the alchemic potental of this cosmic event.
Yogic Rituals for Solar Eclipse Energy
1. Fasting or Lightness
This doesn't need to be drastic it can be subtle and symbolically, the conscious choice of choosing lighter food and simplified input creates clarity in the body and energy field and allows for more of your digestive power to be tuned towards what needs to be integrated and cleared in the subtle layers of consciousness. It also supports the cultivation pranic sensitivity in the potent energetic times.
Here is a recipe for Ayurvedic Kitchari we love.
2. Pranayama to Practice
- Nadi Shodhana to balance Ida & Pingala channels.
- Bhramari, sometimes called bumble bee breath, to settle nervous system.
- Gentle kumbhaka (retention) to hold the “pause” energy of eclipse and clear out unhelpful layers of the mind.
The eclipse mirrors the suspended breath between inhale and exhale; the void.
3. Mantra
- Gayatri Mantra: programs the psyche to turn towards positivity, joy, liberation.
- Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra: purifies doubt and fear from the mind.
- So Hum: supports union of self and universal.
- The bija mantra aligned with the fire element: RAM.
4. Introspective Asana
Rather than intense outward practice:
- Hip openers: release stored or stagnent emotion.
- Twists: detox + karmic clearing symbolism.
- Forward folds: inner gaze, resting in inner landscape to unveil truth.
5. Yoga Nidra
This is exceptionally aligned with eclipse energy:
- The Sun = conscious mind
- The Moon = subconscious mind
- Nidra bridges them
During eclipse season, subconscious content surfaces easily. Nidra becomes a powerful tool for:
- Sankalpa planting
- Identity shedding
- Repatterning self-concept
- Dissolving karmic loops

We also made this playlist for you to listen to in your home practices or to have on in the background while you're going about your day to help purify and re-program the mind.
