By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any program, class, training, workshop, or digital content offered through our website, mobile platform, or online learning systems (collectively referred to as the “Services”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions and Liability Waiver.

By accessing the Services, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk, and that you are responsible for ensuring that participation is lawful and appropriate within your local jurisdiction.
You further acknowledge that House of Alchemy cannot monitor individual participants’ environments, physical condition, or personal limitations during online participation.
2. Comprehensive Assumption of Risk
Participation in yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness practices, and movement-based education carries inherent and unavoidable risks, which may include both physical and psychological risks.
These activities may involve:
- physical movement and stretching
- weight-bearing postures
- deep muscular and fascial release
- breath control and breath retention practices
- prolonged stillness
- emotional or psychological processes.
Potential risks may include, but are not limited to:
- muscle strains or tears
- ligament injuries
- joint injuries
- aggravation of pre-existing injuries
- dizziness or fainting
- changes in blood pressure
- breathing discomfort
- emotional release
- psychological distress
- fatigue
- loss of balance or falls
- neurological responses associated with breathwork or meditation.
You understand and acknowledge that:
- Injuries may occur even when instructions are followed correctly.
- Risks may arise from known or unknown health conditions.
- Risks may arise from improper technique, personal limitations, or environmental factors.
By using the Services provided by House of Alchemy, you expressly and voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation.
You accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of participation.
3. Health, Medical & Psychological Disclaimer
The Services provided by House of Alchemy are educational wellness services only.
They are not medical advice, psychological treatment, physiotherapy, or healthcare services.
You acknowledge that:
- No instructor or representative of House of Alchemy is acting as your medical provider.
- Participation should only occur if you are in good physical and mental health or have received approval from a qualified healthcare professional.
You agree that you will not participate in any activity that may pose a risk to your health, including but not limited to if you have:
- cardiovascular conditions
- respiratory disorders
- spinal injuries
- recent surgery
- neurological conditions
- pregnancy-related medical risks
- mental health conditions affected by breathwork or meditation.
If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, emotional distress, or discomfort, you agree to immediately discontinue the activity.
You assume full responsibility for monitoring your own physical and mental wellbeing during all practices.
4. Safe Practice & Environment Responsibility
Because House of Alchemy’s Services are delivered online, we cannot control the physical environment in which you participate.
You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have:
- adequate open space to move safely
- stable flooring or a non-slip yoga mat
- appropriate equipment or props if required
- safe surroundings free from hazards.
House of Alchemy is not responsible for injuries arising from:
- unsafe environments
- inadequate space
- improper equipment
- misuse of instructions
- distractions during practice.
5. Waiver and Release of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, waive, and forever discharge House of Alchemy, its directors, instructors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to your participation in the Services.
This release applies to any and all claims including, but not limited to:
- personal injury
- illness or medical complications
- psychological distress
- property damage
- financial loss
- death.
This waiver applies regardless of whether such injury or damage arises from:
- negligence
- instructional guidance
- program design
- technical platform issues
- unforeseen risks associated with physical activity.
You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and entirely at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, House of Alchemy shall not be liable for any:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- incidental damages
- loss of income or earnings
- loss of business opportunity
- personal injury.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, liability will be limited to:
- resupplying the Services, or
- refunding the cost of the Services.
7. International Users
Because House of Alchemy serves a global community, participants acknowledge that laws regarding liability and consumer protections may vary between jurisdictions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
8. Electronic Agreement
By purchasing a program, creating an account, or checking the “I agree to the Terms & Conditions” box during checkout, you acknowledge that:
- You have read these Terms and Conditions in full.
- You understand the Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver.
- You voluntarily agree to these legally binding terms.
Electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding agreement equivalent to a signed contract.
